Leviton Charges up Electric Vehicle with an Impeccable 7.7 KW Power

MELVILLE, NY: Leviton, a manufacturer of electric wiring equipment launched Evr-Green 320 level 2 charging station streamlining its Evr- Green line of residential, commercial and public electric vehicle charging systems.

The upgraded version is designed with an improved installation process to enable fast charging of any SAE J1772 standard compatible electric vehicle and provides up to 32 amps at 208 or 240 volts AC at 7.7 KW maximum output.

The product models multiple mounting options allowing installation in outdoor as well as in indoor applications. The intuitive user interface and automatic features make the charging process extremely simple. It has a small footprint requiring only a minimum amount of valuable wall space for mounting.

 The user-friendly patent-pending mounting system allows for a do-it-yourself installation. It enhances user flexibility with its product consisting of either an 18-foot or 25-foot charging cable. In addition, the ‘Auto-Reclosure’ function ensures charging to restart following any minor fault, thereby reducing the chance of having an undercharged battery.

The entire family of Evr-Green products features customized environmental friendly materials, including lead-free electronics and minimized packaging waste through the use of recycled content. The improved design is built of durable powder-coated galvanized steel to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The charge connector also has an inexpensive lockable secure system to prevent unauthorized usage of low carbon trace materials.
