Panama City, Panama: The Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo 2026 has concluded its 16th edition, reinforcing its role as a key business platform for the automotive aftermarket industry across Latin America and global markets. Held from August 12–14, 2026, at the Panama Convention Center, the event brought together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and automotive professionals to explore emerging opportunities in tires, auto parts, lubricants, and related technologies.

The three-day exhibition attracted 6,323 qualified buyers from more than 85 countries, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, fleet operators, and importers. With participation from more than 550 international manufacturers and suppliers, the expo created opportunities for businesses to establish partnerships, expand distribution networks, and strengthen connections across Latin America, the Caribbean, and other international markets.

As the automotive industry continues to evolve through technological advancements, changing mobility needs, and increasing demand for efficient maintenance solutions, trade platforms such as the Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo are becoming important meeting points for industry stakeholders. 

 

The event provided exhibitors with a platform to present products and solutions while allowing buyers to evaluate innovations shaping the future of automotive services and aftermarket operations.

A major highlight of the 2026 edition was the international conference program sponsored by Walker Products, which brought together industry experts to discuss topics ranging from tire technology and sales strategies to profitability, certifications, tire servicing, and the future direction of the automotive sector. Speakers from organizations including Tire Industry Research, Minardi Global, Robert Bosch Panama, LIQUI MOLY, Tire Industry Association, and Tire Retread & Information Bureau shared insights into market developments and operational challenges.

The conference sessions also emphasized the importance of collaboration within the tire retreading industry. Panel discussions featuring representatives from regional and international tire associations explored strategies for addressing industry challenges, improving knowledge sharing, and strengthening cooperation among stakeholders across the Americas.

Beyond product showcases and educational sessions, the expo highlighted the growing importance of global connectivity within the automotive supply chain. Panama’s strategic position as a regional trade hub continues to support business interactions between manufacturers and buyers seeking access to Latin American and Caribbean markets.

The success of the 2026 edition has set the stage for the 17th Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo, scheduled for July 14–16, 2027, at the Panama Convention Center. The upcoming edition is expected to continue supporting automotive businesses by creating opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and expansion across international markets.
