Dynisma Presents Advanced Driving Simulator for Vehicle and Motorsport Development

Dynisma introduces the DMG-1 and DMG-1C systems, which are aimed at global automotive manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and all levels of motorsport.

FREMONT, CA: Dynisma Ltd.®, a motion simulator technology company based in the United Kingdom, launches its new world-class DMG-1„ and lightweight DMG-1 Carbon„ advanced driving simulators. These Dynisma Motion Generators„ (DMGs), which represent a paradigm shift in simulator design, were created specifically for motorsport teams looking to optimize driver and vehicle performance, as well as automotive manufacturers and suppliers for advanced vehicle development and testing. DMG technologies outperform all competitors by at least 50% and are equally affordable.

This announcement comes on the heels of Dynisma completing the commissioning of the world's most advanced simulator for one of the world's most renowned race teams, a project that took two years to develop.

The DMG-1 and DMG-1C driving simulators' breadth of capability has been developed by a team of world-class engineers with more than two decades of Formula One driving simulation experience. Advanced technologies enable OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to conduct advanced tests such as ride comfort, handling, and tire development in a virtual environment. In contrast, these tests could previously only be conducted accurately on-road. Additionally, they enable the safe testing of complex and extreme vehicle dynamics and ADAS systems.

By reducing development miles and the number of hand-built prototypes, automotive manufacturers can significantly reduce costs, reduce the environmental impact of testing and associated travel, and potentially shorten the time required to bring new vehicles to market.

Dynisma has used the same design and engineering process for the DMG-1 simulator as its first custom-built motion simulator, built for a leading Formula One team. The Dynisma DMG-1C simulator, developed and produced by a group of world-class engineers committed to ground-breaking solutions in motion generation, has the lowest latency (less than 4ms) and highest bandwidth (>55hz in all 6DOF) of any simulator currently available.

Reduced latency enables the driver to react more quickly to events such as oversteer. In contrast, the system's high bandwidth allows motion cueing, which is impossible with other conventional motion platforms. The DMG-1's mechanical engineering and technology are market-leading, accurately transmitting higher information to the driver, providing a far more realistic and responsive driving experience.

Dynisma's ground-breaking Direct Drive technology virtually eliminates friction, backlash, and inertia, resulting in a direct and dynamic sensory experience. DMG-1 transmits information directly to the driver's vestibular system in the rawest form possible.

The DMG-1 and the lightweight carbon composite DMG-1C are available as turnkey solutions or can be customized to meet specific requirements, with the option of integrating any type of chassis into current production or prototype vehicles for motorsport or automotive applications.
