Dubai’s transition toward smarter transport infrastructure will gain a new industry platform in November 2026, when the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) hosts the inaugural Dubai International Electric Vehicle Exhibition and Conference at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Scheduled from November 10 to 12, the event will focus on technologies and strategies supporting sustainable mobility under the theme “Driving a Smart and Sustainable Mobility Future.”

The exhibition is expected to bring together more than 300 companies, authorities and organizations involved in electric vehicles and related technologies. The event will showcase developments across EV manufacturing, vehicle operations and smart infrastructure, while attracting specialists, decision-makers and industry participants focused on the future of transportation.

The growing complexity of electric mobility adoption is shifting industry attention beyond vehicle production toward supporting ecosystems.

The event will highlight areas including battery management systems, hydrogen fuel cells, charging infrastructure and renewable energy integration, reflecting the broader requirements involved in building electric transport networks.

RTA’s initiative aligns with Dubai and UAE strategies focused on emissions reduction and clean energy development. The exhibition will address areas such as EV battery recycling, circular economy practices and technology investments aimed at supporting more sustainable transport systems. The conference program will also include discussions, technical workshops, demonstrations and a hackathon focused on developing practical solutions for future mobility challenges.

The event will serve automotive technology professionals, mobility providers, government entities, investors and organizations involved in emerging transport solutions. Its scope will extend beyond conventional EV applications to include autonomous systems, drones and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, highlighting the expanding range of technologies influencing mobility planning.
