The redesigned website provides the additive manufacturing community with additional technical assistance and solutions from 3D printing industry specialists.

FREMONT, CA: 3D printing enables the conception and fabrication of geometries that are physically impossible to construct using traditional methods, either as a single part or at all. 3D printing enables any user, including those with no CAD experience, to change designs in any way they like, resulting in unique, personalized new parts.Metrix Connect LLC has purchased and rebuilt AdditiveManufacturing.com, continuing the site's purpose of providing resources and content to the additive manufacturing community. Over 100 advisers in additive manufacturing/3D printing and represent various businesses and technology have aided Metrix, an ASME, in developing and curating content and tools for the site. The redesigned site highlights cutting-edge technology that fosters professional connections through events, webinars, and technology networks. It provides opportunities for community members to contribute expertise, participate in forums, and contribute to the development of AM/3D printing standards. Advisors include industry specialists from Baker Hughes, BMW, Boeing, Mayo Clinic, and Stryker.
